Homework Policy

Most work done in IB Technology is project-based, and will be worked on in class.  Occasionally, students may need to work on a project outside of class, either at home or during after school Open Lab hours.

*Open Lab is held every Thursday after school from 3:30-4:30.  Open Lab is not a club.  Open Lab is available for students needing more time and/or technology to complete school projects.  Students must have prior arrangements made (walk or pick-up) to go home after Open Lab is over.

Standards-Based Grading
The purpose of Standards-Based Grading (SBG) is to measure a student’s performance and product against defined Grade Level expectations. In a SBG and reporting system, grades reflect what a student knows and can do, as outlined in the Arizona State Standards. Teachers in Grades K–8 will base report card grades on academic achievement only.
